American Karate Institute is an institution in Kendall. My brother, friends and now my son train here. I love the community and familial feel of the dojo, the professionalism and commitment of the owners and instructors, and the values that they teach students. 10 out of 5 stars. Best karate school in Miami. I highly recommend that you enroll your kids. You will not be disappointed.

We’ve been taking our son here for a year and love the way they run it like a family, especially including the parents with these great parent/child workshops. They always add a valuable lesson to each session in addition to the physical aspect. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

My son has been attending class for a few weeks and even though it seems like a short period of time. I am already noticing incredible changes in his self confidence and attitude. I am specially amazed by the encouragement and support they offer to each and every child. Working closely with them to help them achieve their goals both in class and out in the world. My son absolutely loves it. I appreciate their system of short term and long term goals which allows them to see their progress and feel pride in their accomplishments.

We are so glad to have found this academy! From the very start, we noticed a strong sense of organization, respect, and professionalism. He started with two classes a week as requested, and after two months, he now goes four times a week. I have a great experience with the school. Two of my kids went to the school and we loved it. All members of American Karate Institute are very well trained to teach the kids. There is a waiting area for parents and kids friendly. Highly recommended.
